Silent Hill: The Arcade is an arcade game spin-off of the survival horror video game series Silent Hill developed by Konami. The Arcade was first revealed at the 2007 Japan Arcade Operator's Union trade show by Konami.

Being a rail shooter, Silent Hill: The Arcade is a large departure from the normal survival horror mechanics of the main series.

The gameplay in Silent Hill: The Arcade is similar to the House of the Dead series in which players use light guns to aim and shoot at enemies. Shooting away from the screen reloads the player's gun.

The Arcade has a multiplayer element, where each player can choose to be either Eric or Tina. A second player can join the game at any time. Progress can be saved by using the e-Amusement pass.

  • The game will crash without applying a codec fix. Download the fix here and run the .bat file as admin.
  • To fix the sound not playing correctly, please download this fix and extract it to the same folder as the game executable.
  • Game executable is 'KSHG.exe' found in the root folder.

The game is still crashing with both fixes applied.

You need a CLEAN DUMP of this game. There are dumps out there with hacked/altered game files and will not run correctly with TeknoParrot.

The game says the guns need to be calibrated.

Press the "Test" key. Go into IO Check in the Menu. Go to Gun Check. Hold the "Test" button and press the P1 Trigger. Perform the calibration actions. Hold the "Test" button and press the P2 Trigger. Perform the calibration actions. Save and Exit.

The game says E-Amusement Network cant be configured.

Press the "Test" key. Go into Network Options in the Menu. Turn off e-Amusement. Save and Exit.
